Luigi Alessandro Cavenaghi has been appointed President of the areta international Board of Directors in 2003. Since 2005 he is eligible to act as Qualified Person.
Biologist by training, Dr. Cavenaghi holds a degree in Biological Sciences and a degree in Physical Technology both from the University of Milan.

Dr. Cavenaghi has an extensive knowledge of International GMP requirements, regulatory inspections and Quality Systems development and implementation. He also has a keen interest in helping clients to drive out unnecessary complexity to improve efficiency.
He has over 40 years of industrial experience encompassing research, development, production, validation, and quality control. He held a number of positions within the Lepetit Group where his last role was senior Director of Analytical Development & Quality Control of the Anagni plant. He has provided auditing, consultancy and training to almost all types of pharmaceutical manufacturing activities.
