Dr. Maria Luisa Nolli, founder and C.E.O. of areta international has recently been awarded from Camera di Commercio of Milan as one of the best female entrepreneur involved in innovative business.
The initiative, called Piazza Mercanti Award, was instituted in 2003 by local authority (Camera di Commercio of Milan, Provincia of Milan, Regione Lomardia) and it aims at highlighting the activities performed by entrepreneurs who have contributed to the growth of local economy and to the development of business and entrepreneurial culture.
The Chamber of Commerce of Milan bestowed to the winners of the fifth edition of the Piazza Mercanti Award the work of art "Circular", created by Massimo Uberti: oil on wood and neon, the result of the artist’s research on the Italian Renaissance, a period in which the arts (and architecture in particular), planned the new human space of the so-called "ideal cities".
The Piazza Mercanti Award is an indicative title of a physical place and of different economic activities promoted by the Chamber Institution, which aim is giving a significant public recognition to the entrepreneurial commitment to the growth of the enterprise system and of the entrepreneurial culture. Piazza Mercantire presents, in fact, one of the vertices of an imaginary triangle in the heart of Milan: the first is represented by the Municipality and civic dimension, the second by the Duomo and the religious dimension and the third by Merchants Square and the underground economic dimension.
