areta's Gerenzano GMP facility is a 1.000m² of state-of-the-art manufacturing structure divided in EU grade D, C and A/B class with dedicated air-handling systems (HVAC), QC laboratories, stability area and warehouses.

The facility is divided in suites designed and realized to accommodate multi-product projects from the production to the aseptic filling stages.
All the equipment fully complies with cGMP standards and is monitoring and connected to a centralized alarm security system.
The flow of materials and personnel are unidirectional and separated by airlock and pass-box in overpressure.

In addition, the facility contains a room dedicated to the storage of Master Cell Bank and final products in liquid-nitrogen vapour, liquid nitrogen, -80 °C, -20 °C and 2-8 °C.

areta's GMP facility is extremely flexible and can be adapted to the most innovative procedures for the preparation of therapeutic doses, supporting clinical studies of biopharmaceuticals and advanced therapy medicinal products up to Phase III.
